WEEE The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment directive stipulates that a company is responsible for the ecological disposal or recycling of its electrical and electronic products. |

RoHS The Restriction on Hazardous Substances directive prohibits the use of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. |

China RoHS The Chinese government has released their own directive for Restriction on Hazardous Substances. To be in compliance, manufacturers must declare and control the use of hazardous substances. |
